After 5 days with the servers down, SlashMySearch is finally back. For all the users who tried to join the website, I'm sorry for the delay, and I hope the downtime is over for good (they were updating the servers after all, so there should be no more problems).

SlashMySearch pays you to use their search engine (which is a quite good engine as it can replace Google or Yahoo, not just based on advertisers) and they pay you quite good.

As I said on my previous post about SlashMySearch, it was normal if the website would be down for some short periods of time, because of the huge affluence they're having on their servers, and because the program is still in beta. However, I was kind of frustrated to discover the site down since March 10. It's not because of the earnings I'm not making there, but because the users of my blog trusted my review about it and, when they clicked on my link, it just didn't work, or the

"I'm sorry, some our site is currently under maintenance. Please check again later. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

message appeared.

Don't worry, though, this program is not a scam and the webmasters are really trying to fix the servers. When the servers are normal again, I will post an update here. Until then, please understand my position and, specially, the SlashMySearch position and accept our apologies for the inconvenience. And please, do try later, because the program deserves it.

AGLOCO - Viewbar Update

According to AGLOCO official blog, the Viewbar is coming around late March or early April.

Viewbar Update: Our lead tech development engineer is still in Shanghai with the Viewbar team (now seven engineers). Cutting to the point, the current release date is now between 18 and 39 days from today (between Monday March 26th and Monday April 16th). I am told this is all a function of the QA testing results.

SlashMySearch - Updates

If you have already joined for SlashMySearch, it's likely that you've already run with the "Technical Difficulties" webpage, that was showing for already two days. Fear not, it was due to the high levels of traffic they are getting, and they already fixed the problem, by moving for a more powerful server.

It's also true that the search rates have dropped considerably. I only can get around 20 cents a day (with still no effort at all), instead of the 50 cents I was getting at the first days. That also has a very simple explanation. They are still tuning their search engine, and, in order to give us something where we can continue to search, they used Snap engine. Off course, that engine won't bring them any money, but you can still earn some money by using the website. It's a matter of time, before they bring up their search engine again.

The final update is a really great one. Remember the high payout of 50$? Well, they've taken into account the various member suggestions to lower the payout, and they lowered it to 20$. That's a very reasonable value, as you can reach it within a month.

DonkeyMails is one of the most respectful Paid to Read website out there. Accepting members worldwide, and using a low 1$ PayPal or Alertpay payout and a fantastic No-Minimum Payout for E-Gold, was soon flooded by members. In less than 2 years (DonkeyMails has been standing since February 2005), they have made a fantastic mark of more than 100000 members. And they have successfully handled the member "flood", expanding their options (there are several games, like lottery, by using the money you earned) and they still pay their members.

I'm a Portuguese member and, although I don't receive lots of emails, I do receive more than 5 per day, averaging 3 cents per day. That's not as much as I earn with my-PTR, but I can immediately cash it out via E-Gold. They also have Paid to Click and Paid to Sign-up options that will certainly boost your earnings. I've earned my first dollar with them the first week I've signed up (thanks to the Free Paid to Sign-up offers) and I slowly increase my earnings every day by cashing out with E-Gold.

An exciting new opportunity has finally arrived. SlashMySearch is a search engine that pays their users for using their search engine.

It is true that search engines offer a big potential to advertisers. If you are looking for something on the Internet, companies want their products to be clicked first. And so, search engine advertising was born and it is a really effective tool for promoting products. Take Google, for instance, if you type a search, you'll notice the "Sponsored Links" at the right. And it's quite probable that you'll click on them and consider their offer.

So, SlashMySearch pays their users to use their search engine, instead of using Google, or Yahoo, or whatever search engine you are using.

At first, I thought I would quit the program in the first day. Let's admit it: nothing beats Google or Yahoo (or another big search engine), so why should I use a new search engine? I was afraid I would get poor results (only advertisers results). And second, I thought I would only earn, at most, 1$ per month.

Well, I have to admit it... I was very, very wrong.

First, I was surprised for the search results. They don't use Google engine, Yahoo engine. They are actually using the best engines and filtering the best results. Engines include: Altavista, Yahoo, Google, Excite and others. Plus, you can search withing Ebay, Amazon, and search for images or videos. All in one Search Engine. Plus, you get keyword suggestions and thumbnails for each result. And this all works quite well!

Second, I only used SlashMySearch engine for a couple of times the first day I used it. I was expecting to earn something like 0.001$. But no, I earned 0.11$. Wow, 11 cents with no effort at all... and I'm sure I could earn 1$ easily, not for month, but within one or two day!

The payout is very reasonable: 20$ via PayPal, considering you can reach it within 1 month, that should be the best offer ever.

This looks too good to be true, but, really, it is very good and it is true! The search engine is good enough to replace the big ones and you can earn money, and the best, I haven't detected any spyware or adware on this website (you don't even have to install a toolbar). Be aware that this program is still in a Beta stage, meaning that you can find some technical errors (like server overloading, wrong search results).

Exodus 3000 - Game Updates coming soon!

Eric Paulson, the administrator of Exodus 3000, finally has a break to dedicate to the game. In the next weeks, he'll be adding some enhancements and new elements to the game mechanic, in order to improve the game experience and to lower the inflation, that was being a serious problem for the game. This month, the inflation not only stopped, it really came down. Instead of the 89500 MD for January, it became 84500 MD. And everything points for the payout rate to drop quite more (new ads, and the new changes will almost guarantee it).

You can contribute to the game by suggesting new features, specially ones that will somehow lower MD.

So, you've come to this website looking for a way to earn some money, while having fun with it. Relax, you've just found the right place, and I will guide you peacefully to it.

First, I'll recommend you a dedicated email address. What do I mean when I say dedicated? Well, making money on the Internet is all based in advertising. Most of the programs, you are getting money for allowing websites to send you emails about their products. So, you will need an email address for this purpose, in order to prevent your own personal email address to be full of "junk". I would recommend Google Mail (GMail), because it has a nice interface, it has big storage options (2.8GB and counting, it's more than you will ever need) and, best of all, it's FREE.

The second thing is a Paypal account and/or a E-Gold account. This accounts will act as an intermediate, between the programs you'll join and the money you'll receive. You don't even have to have a credit card to process the payments, so you'll be 100% safe. These two payments processors have a great reputation on the Internet (Paypal belongs to Ebay, for instance).

Ok, now you are ready for it. Next, you'll have to join a few websites. I'll recommend you to read the Categories page, in order to know what kinds of Make-Money programs are there.

AGLOCO - Own the Internet

AGLOCO is a recent website with a very interesting concept for its members. You have probably installed some toolbars, like Google Toolbar, to help increase your browsing speed and fun. AGLOCO's Viewbar™ offers a similar concept. They will show you other websites related to the one you are visiting, or show you better offers. For instance, if you are buying a book at an online store they can show you better prices. It's a good offer, but that alone won't give you money.

The most interest concept about AGLOCO it's they give their members a share from their own earning. For instance, imagine that you buy a book recommended by the Viewbar™ for 20$ and imagine that AGLOCO profits 10% for referring the book. That's 2$ for AGLOCO. But the good thing:AGLOCO gives you a share from their 2$ comission (say 1.5$). And not just for buying. Either by searching on the Viewbar™ or watching their offers, you'll receive more shares from their earnings. You can earn money by surfing. Almost literally!

AGLOCO is still not fully-launched. My-PTR is a Paid to Read website, that offers 0.75 and 1 cent emails for its members. They promise 10/20 emails/day for US, UK, CA and AU members. I'm a worldwide member and I receive almost 10 everyday. That equals around 8/9 cents a day, just for reading your email. Payout is fairly high ( 5$ for free members ), but it's better than an 1$ payout with 0.25 cent emails. Besides, there are other ways to earn money, by signing up for free offers or clicking on ads (they will get you 0.1 cent each, though).

A good bonus is the option to buy things (your own ads, for instance) with money you have in your account. You can upgrade your account if you have 5$ in it or buy a 1000 banner impression with as little as 0.25$. As you don't need to send money, you'll never lose your own, just the one they give you.

I have no doubts that this is one of the best PTR website, at least for worldwide members.

Constant Content is the ideal website for a freelance writer. You can write articles, tutorials or reviews on any topic you want and sell it for any money you want. There are several licenses you can sell, for instance, you can sell a Usage license, that allows the buyer to use the article without any change on it (he can't change the byline or links you put there), and a Full-Rights license, that allows the buyer to have full control and exclusivity of the article (ie: they can even sell it with their name and you can't sell it anymore, as it's full propriety of the buyer). You can choose at which price you want to sell each license (or if you want to sell a certain license). There are also an area dedicated to requests buyers make. The payout is 50$, which is very good since you can hit it easily with a single Full Rights license of an article around 1000 words. The website takes a 35% fee of what you sell for itself, to pay for affiliates and to pay hosting fees.

It's a free to join website, that accepts PayPal as payments processor.

Exodus 3000 is a FREE strategy webgame. The game is very simple and very addictive. The game is set a thousand years in the future and you are one of the last survivor of the human race. Something (a catastrophe) led the human race to fled to Mars. Each player in the game has a homestead. To survive in Mars, you must search for Mars Dollars, in order to upgrade your weapons and defense. You can find Mars Dollars by mining volcanoes, searching within ruins or by attacking other players. Each day you can make 250 moves. You earn money by reaching a Mars Dollars value (it varies depending on how money the creators of this game have and how many will reach the 20$ payout). It takes time for a newcomer to earn money, but as soon as they upgrade every weapon it would be as easy as once per month.

It accepts PayPal and E-Gold as the payments processor.

PayPal is a free online payment processor. To put it simple, PayPal is like an electronic bank. You can receive money and make payments online. You don't even need a credit card (although you need one to withdraw money from your account). This system is very good to use online. Websites won't have your credit card number, so it's completely safe. And the best, PayPal is FREE to join and it's also available in a large number of countries. It's a reliable system, since it's owned by eBay.

This is not a "earn-money" website, but the system you should use to process the money you will receive from the websites.

That's something wrong with it don't you think? How come they can give you money without asking for something in return? We're talking about SCAM websites. These websites won't give you any money at all...

But there are ways to make some money on the Internet. Some are as fun as playing a game. Others expect you to create something, like a logo or an article in exchange of money. Others are as easy as to read your email. Sounds too great to be true? Let me explain to you how can anyone get money in the Internet.

The main source of income is advertisement. Do you know Google? It's a nice and free search engine that has billions of visitors worldwide. You can find thousands of websites about the topic you want just by typing a search term. Why they would give such a service for free? They are having some expenses with web hosting, but they are also earning billions with their advertisement system. Haven't you noticed any ads? While searching for something, at the right of the screen will appear Sponsor Links. That's where the ads are. You have probably clicked on them sometimes, because they were useful to you. Google earns some cents (or even dollars) for showing you the ad, the Sponsor gets you at their website (You may have bought something from him!) and you found what you wanted. Everyone's happy! Internet Marketing has a market of billions of dollars, that's the main source of income on the Internet.
